What is a YOU Session?
Some photographers believe boudoir portraits should always be taken in a bedroom. Translated from French, “boudoir” literally means “a woman’s dressing room” hence this traditional view. But we believe YOU can be you just about anywhere!
More than 10 years ago, we created YOU by Abanathy Photography, LLC to harbor our sexy, boudoir portraits away from our standard portrait offerings. It has since become that and so much more! Being a photographer means being creative and we’re always thinking of new ideas to make into a reality. Our ever-evolving studio lends itself to a variety of photography styles, themes and backdrops and one of the best places to bring it all to life is through YOU!

The basics:
So, what is a YOU session? It’s a portrait session capturing the timeless beauty of you. You can do it in a sexy way (Sexy YOU) or a modest way (Simply YOU). Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed by the exhilarating experience and the amazing portraits it’ll create. We have fun here and we want that for you too!
A YOU session is empowerment. They’re the perfect way to say “I’m bold and I’m beautiful”, celebrate body goals and birthday milestones and the most amazing self esteem boost you’ll ever receive.
A YOU session is also one of the most unique gifts you can create for for that special someone, a wonderful surprise for the wedding night and (on the Simply YOU side) a priceless heirloom your family can treasure forever!
What can you expect from a YOU session? More than 10 years experience in a professional environment with the photographer and his (female) assistant, discretion when it comes to your portraits (we do not use clients’ intimate portraits in our advertising) and a quick turnaround time on your gallery. In fact, we understand a tight deadline and always work with you in a variety of ways to get your portraits, prints and/or albums in time for when you need them.
